Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a believed to be irritant spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their luggage taken after getting out of a car park lift, authorities reported.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured during the incident. Five people required hospital care and were later discharged.

This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
