Colts Face Falcons in German Capital – NFL Week 10

Hello, football fans. How are you? Alles klar I trust on this fine early start to week 10 coming directly from Germany. The Olympiastadion in Berlin to be exact where at 9:30 AM EST and 2:30 PM GMT the powerful Colts (seven wins and two losses) take on the Falcons (3-5). The fifth game played on German soil and the initial in the capital city.

Pregame Highlights

When it comes to glittering attire that is an real standout from Katarina Witt on the coin toss. A minor slip from Sky Sports there as we hear “who won the toss?” from the presenter with an accidentally live microphone.

Well, the coin toss went to Indianapolis and have elected to receive. Daniel Jones and company will be setting up shortly. Will the QB bounce back after a difficult performance in Pittsburgh?

Not to be outdone the vocalist performing the Star Spangled Banner has some of the largest shoulder pads you are bound to notice. The fashion picks are impressive today. We are almost underway after a choir performance for the national anthem of Germany. Elegant.

Opening Period Gameplay

Colts 0-0 Falcons 13:30, 1st quarter

Here we go! And we have early drama after Jonathan Taylor catches a screen pass, gains 15 yards on the outside to the right side then loses the ball … only for his offensive lineman to recover the fumble with the recovery. Colts are in Falcons territory already.

Colts 0-0 Falcons 10:51, 1st quarter

And the drama keeps coming as the Indianapolis attempts a fourth-down conversion. The gamble fails to pay off as the wide receiver fails to catch a fastball from the quarterback. On the play before the turnover on downs the Falcons defender put a huge hit on the Colts' tight end. The Falcons have come out fighting on defense as they try and snap their string of three losses. Following that, Sauce Gardner makes his first appearance!

Score Updates

TOUCHDOWN! Colts 6-0 Falcons 8:36, 1st quarter

Did Kyle Pitts just drop a touchdown? The tight end drops a clanger, he was very open but the ball just slips through his grasp. That moment reflects the high draft pick's professional journey to date.

So far, so disappointing but it only gets worse for the Falcons as they cough the ball back to the Indianapolis on the 23-yard line. The Falcons quarterback is sacked and fumbles the football.

An agile 22-yard rush from Ashton Dulin sets Jonathan Taylor up to roll in for the score on the following play. Kicker Michael Badgley skews the extra point wide. Mistake.

Falcons respond: 6-7 at 6:07

The quarterback recovers from the turnover by leading Atlanta on a long drive for a score of their own. The wide receiver makes some chunky receptions to put them in the scoring area then the seas part for Tyler Allgeier to run untouched into the end zone through the middle of the defense for 13 yards. The running back finishes it off for a short scoring run of his own. Advantage Atlanta.

Additionally, the jumbo package starting at 1 PM EST and 6 PM GMT (home teams listed first) is as follows:
